Thanks to everyone who supported the Reach Across tour!
Everything quietens down for the summer now, but look out for one or two dates coming up in August/September.

All the Nashville recording days are done!!
A day off today, then one more concert in Richmond Kentucky, then back to Nashville Sunday, then fly home Monday!! Another week of mixing etc in Gorbals Sound studio in Glasgow, design a front cover, and the album will be ready! Title is now definitely going to be Reach Across. The basic songs are still the ones listed below as live versions just with acoustic guitar from Alford, but the actual album transforms them… I’m thrilled with how it’s all sounding .. I have a 100 voice black gospel choir, and I think some of the best sounding instrumentation I’ve ever had….. The title track, Reach Across, I wrote here in Nashville just two weeks ago, and when I played it to one or two people, they instantly said ‘This has to be the title track!! One of these songs that just connects as soon as you hear it… COMING SOON!!

Hi everyone!

You can see that the November diary is getting busy. We are trying a big push to help India Ministries Fellowship on it’s way, and you’ll see details on the diary page. Please try to get along to one of the nights and support this worthy cause!

Also in November is an exciting week-end of dates covering London, Dublin and Belfast, and right at the end, a return trip to the Scots Kirk in Lausanne Switzerland for a St Andrew’s day concert.

I look forward to seeing you hopefully at one of these dates!

Hi everyone, thanks for logging on.

The recording in Alford on May 26th went well, and in the next couple of weeks, I’m putting up on the home page some simple videos of the songs, along with words and chord charts that you’ll be able to print off. My hope is that long before the actual album comes out, one or two of the songs may start to be used in congregations. See what you think!

May and June are quiet months for outside engagements, but busy ones for school stuff!

Hi Everyone…

Main news this month is that on Friday I’m inviting anyone who can manage to join me in the village of Alford, outside Aberdeen, for a very special recording evening. I’ve been putting together a set of new worship songs , and it’s just not a proper worship album if it doesn’t have a real congregation on it!
So, if you live in the North East, can sing a bit, and love to worship, please try to come along to the Church of Scotland in the middle of Alford, for 7 pm on the 26th!

Hi everyone!

The Sound and Vision tour is nearing the end now, and I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has supported it. So far 60 children have also been sponsored for Compassion. A few more dates to go. Edinburgh this weekend, and then a re-scheduled Guernsey visit in a couple of weeks’ time.

The songs Beach City Prayer, Everything I have, and Lord of What is Good have been really well received on the tour, and I hope they may find their way into regular use with congregations.

I’m already planning dates for next February!
